The Department of Public Safety says Christopher Adam Lambert, 34, died Saturday night from an ATV accident. At about 9:30 p.m. Saturday, officers say Lambert wrecked his 3-wheeler on a dirt road off of County Road 75 about 3 1/2 miles outside of Gantt.

According to authorities, Lambert was thrown from the ATV and the vehicle landed on him. Lambert was then transported by a helicopter medical unit to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead as a result of his injuries.

The Dept. of Public Safety is still investigating the accident, but agencies involved believe speed played a factor in the crash.
