Alabama is joining other states to honor veterans and their families in the Wreaths Across America program.

Governor Bentley will join other states officials along with veterans and their families for the wreath laying ceremony at 10:30am Monday, at the state Capitol auditorium.

At the exact same time across the country and in Washington, other state's officials will hold their own ceremonies.

Then next Saturday, December 15th, groups will place wreaths on more than 1700 graves at the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo.
