Tools

By Heather VacLav

Governor Robert Bentley and Emergency Management Agency Director Art Faulkner will be meeting with local leaders Monday to figure out how to prepare for Tropical Storm Debby. Changes in the forecast track for Debby show that people across the state need to be prepared before the storm hits.

Sunday the Emergency Management Agency in Houston County held a briefing about preparations. There will also be a separate news conference Monday to discuss Alabama's plan if Tropical Storm Debby becomes a threat. The meeting will also talk about Alabama's first ever state sales tax holiday set aside for severe weather preparations.
