Alabama News Network weather team conducted a town hall meeting in Demopolis Tuesday night. Residents learned about severe weather and how to stay safe during a severe weather event.

Severe weather rarely strikes without warning. Weather experts like Alabama News Network Chief Meteorologist Ashley McDonald and meteorologist Marcy Novak sound the alarm every time there's the slightest hint of severe weather.
 

Dozens of Marengo County residents took part in a town hall meeting and learned that being informed and being prepared are two of the most important things people can do to stay safe during a severe weather event.
