After two weeks of fair food and fun, the 60th annual Alabama National Fair came to an end Sunday night.

Organizers say the fair has been a big success this year, with ticket sales up 20 percent from last year.

Alabama News Network sponsored Pepsi Night, on Thursday, which was the busiest night of this year's fair.

The price of admission that night was one dollar and a non-perishable food item. The drive raised over 50,000 pounds of food.

The Kiwanis Club of Montgomery hosts the fair, donating money to charity. Organizers say this year, the community really got into the fair spirit.

The fair wrapped up on Sunday with a final circus performance.
