Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore says the state budget plan is wiping out Alabama's court system.
Moore says state's has less money for the judicial system now than when he began his first term in 2001.
Last year, legislation increased court fees to bring in more money for the courts, but Moore says it isn't working the way it should.
The chief justice also expects Governor Bentley's proposed budget for the court system to cause layoffs and a $19 million dollar shortfall.
Moore says he expressed his concerns to the governor in a letter, but the governor's office has no comment.
