Alabama: Bicycle Unfriendly?

(Montgomery) -- Alabama ranks near the bottom when it comes to being bicycle-rider friendly.

The League of American Bicyclists has released its annual Bicycle-Friendly State rankings.
And Alabama is ranked 49th. The bike group ranks the states based on infrastructure and laws that protect people on bikes from other traffic on the roads. Only North Dakota ranked lower. The states with the best ranking are Washington Colorado and Oregon.
