Firefighters got the call shortly after 9 p.m. They say 30 firefighters and 12 units rushed to the scene and had the fire under control in 23 minutes.

Investigators say the adult and two children were hurt when they jumped from the second story and were hurt in their fall. Their injuries are said to be non life-threatening.

Two families have been displaced. Apartment managers are making arrangments to relocate them, according to firefighters. Investigators say two units received heavy damage, two others had smoke and water damage.
