ASU's Stingettes Take the Stage at MTV Video Music Awards

There were plenty of celebrities on the red carpet tonight for MTV's Video Music Awards. But there were some familiar faces, too.

The Alabama State University Stingettes were there to perform with singer Robin Thicke.

And ASU hosted a watch party to see it all.

Thicke released his new single "give it to you" this morning which features a performance from the dance team.
 
The dancers worked through eight to ten hour rehearsals and 12 to 14 hour days on set to learn the routines and prepare for filming.
