Alabama State University is encouraging its students and other young adults to register to vote.
A Get Out the Vote Rally was held this morning at the Dunn-Oliver Acadome.
ASU has been registering their students all semester, and officials say they have registered between 1,500 and 2,000 so far.
Students say it is important to vote so that their voice is heard.
"Whether they vote or not, someone is going to win is what people don't understand" says student Dominique Mayes. "For those who say that they're not going to vote, they have to understand that."
If you have yet registered to vote, the deadline is tomorrow.
