A man is arrested after kidnapping a woman and her two children, then stealing a drawer full of money from a popular restaurant in Millbrook.
Just after midnight Saturday an adult female and her children were kidnapped and robbed at the 34-hundred block of Atlanta Highway in Montgomery.
Police say the kidnapper is 27-year old Jeremy Peter Somers of Michigan.
Somers, armed with a knife, made the the woman drive to an A-T-M and withdraw cash they then returned to her home unharmed, and Somers fled the scene.
Seven hours later, Millbrook police arrested Somers for robbing the Front Poarch Grille on 106 Deatsville Highway.
Somers robbed the restaurant at gunpoint and just minutes later officers caught Somers with the stolen money.
He is being charged with one count of robbery in the first degree and second degree kidnapping.

The suspect had a knife in both robberys and dropped his wallet with his SS card in the woman back seat before forcing her to drop him off at the shell station across the street from from the cvs.
