MONTGOMERY (WNCF)- The FBI National Academy has selected Maj. Huey Thorton of the Montgomery Police Department to attend.

According to officers, less than one percent of all law enforcers in the country are selected to attend the academy.

Thorton considers this a great opportunity and hopes to gain experience and knowledge that he can bring back to the Montgomery area and better the community.
