Golden Flake Heir Investigation Moved

By WNCF Staff

MOUNTAIN BROOK (WNCF) – The investigation into the death of the heir of Golden Flake snack foods has been turned over to Birmingham police.

Major Bashinsky was found dead at a Mountain Brook golf course last Monday and police have been hesitant to release details on the case.

Officials say a coroner’s report will probably be available some time next week.

The Highland Golf Course where the body was found is in the Birmingham city limits, not Mountain Brook.
