Huge Drug Bust Sets New Record

HUNTSVILLE (WNCF) – A huge drug bust was made Friday in Huntsville.

Police say thousands of prescription pills amounted to the county’s biggest seizure of that type of narcotic ever.

27-year-old Christy McBride was arrested with nearly 21,000 pills, valued at approximately $240,000.

Investigators also found $180,000 in cash and 15 pounds of marijuana.
