Decision on New Nuclear Reactor Delayed

CHATTANOOGA, TN (WNCF) – A decision on whether or not to build a new nuclear reactor in northeast Alabama has been delayed.

A decision from the Tennessee Valley Authority on the expansion of the Bellefonte Nuclear Plant was expected on April 16th.

Executives say they are delaying the decision by at least a couple of months, in order to consider other options.
