Montgomery Bus Boycott Celebration

MONTGOMERY (WNCF)- Troy University’s Rosa Parks Museum will host an event celebrating women’s involvement in the Montgomery Bus Boycott.

“The Women Gather” is scheduled for Thursday, March 11, from 6-8 p.m. The event will include poetry and music featuring local women writers and performers. Some of these performers include Priscilla Hancock Cooper, Shirley Ferrill, Delores Byrd Smith, and Evelyn Williams.

Admission is free and open to the public.
