Three Year Anniversary of Tornado Tragedy

By James Koontz

ENTERPRISE (WNCF) - It has been three years since a tornado came ripping through Enterprise High School killing eight students. Though there are a lot of things most would like to forget about that day, the rebuilding process is bringing light to the small town.

A new elementary school has opened and the construction on the new Enterprise High School should be completed by the end of summer. The future threat of severe weather will always be around but local officials hope to ease the minds of citizens as tornado shelters are apart of the changes taking place at the Enterprise schools.

officials are also optimistic about dedicating a memorial to the eight students killed by the 2007 tornado at the sight of the old high school.
