Judge: Tyson Has Say Over Riley

BIRMINGHAM (WNCF) – A Birmingham judge ruled Monday that Attorney General Troy King has legal authority over Governor Bob Riley’s illegal gambling task force.

Circuit Court Judge Robert Vance said that he was curious why the Attorney General did not use his own power to stop the raids.

Vance ordered King to advise the court whether or not he supports the closure of bingo facilities in Lowndes County by March 22nd.
