School in Session After Fatal Shooting

MADISON (WNCF) - Discovery Middle School, whose students and faculty were hit with tragedy last week, has reopened its doors Monday morning.

Though the school and community are attempting to get back to normal, things Monday morning were not exactly business as usual. Extra police officers were on hand, and school administrators will take a liberal approach to the absentee policy.

A 14-year-old young man was arrested after the shooting of ninth-grader Todd Brown on Friday.
