Tuskegee Airmen Hangar Museum Opens

Tuskegee (WNCF)- The Tuskegee Airmen National Historic Hangar #1 Museum will be open for tours Wednesday-Friday beginning Wednesday Feb. 17.

Available tour times are 10:00-11:00 a.m. and 2:00-3:00 p.m.

Park Rangers request groups of 15 and larger call in advance and schedule a time.

This historic site is in the process of expanding their facilities. Phase two will consist of a second hangar complete with a movie theatre and P-51 Mustang. This phase will be completed in 2012.
