Police Chase Bill Becomes Law

Good news for Alabama police, as the new chase bill is signed into law.

It says anyone eluding police in a vehicle will be charged with a class A misdemeanor.

Also, if the pursuit results in injury to anyone, the charge upgrades to a class C felony.
