By Adam Bagni

The class of 2009 at Opelika High School is mourning a classmate's death - just a week before graduation.

18 year-old Kayla Vines has been killed died in a car accident in Lee County.

Alabama State Troopers say Vines lost control of her car on Highway 431.

She was not wearing a seatbelt.

Opelika High School plans to have a special presentation for Kayla during graduation next Friday.
