Arrests Made in Downtown Homicide

Police have arrested three people in connection with the shooting death of a Montgomery man at a downtown motel.

39-year old Demetrius Miller was found dead with multiple gunshot wounds shortly after midnight on Tuesday at the Town Plaza Motel on Madison Avenue.
Police arrested three Montgomery nineteen year olds, Jalisa Williams, Latahdrick Perkins, Nayman Gilchrist – all charged with capital murder.
Police said robbery was the motive in the shooting.
