Federal authorities say 15 people are facing charges in connection with a major drug raid.

U.S. Justice Department officials say law officers seized more than a pound of "ice" methamphetamine, more than 30 firearms, nearly $13,000 in cash and several vehicles they say were being used to transport illegal drugs.

The arrests and seizures were part of a joint effort by federal, state and local authorities.

Law officers also executed five federal search warrants -- two in Montgomery, two in the Deatsville area of Autauga County, and one in the Central community in Elmore County.

During the searches, authorities say they found evidence of drug dealing including methamphetamine, firearms and cash.
