Gunfire has left a 12-year old Montgomery boy dead.
Police say they are investigating the shooting on Commodore St. in Montgomery as an accident.
An aunt of the victim says 12-year-old Demone Parks was accidentally shot by a younger family member Wednesday afternoon. She says it's not clear how the child got the gun.
Family members gathered to try and comfort each other in this unbelievable tragedy.
"They have pellet guns, they might have gotten them mixed up," said Barbara Oliver, an aunt of the victim.
Montgomery police say they are investigating the case as an accident, and no criminal charges are expected.
