The state flu map from the Alabama Department of Public Health shows that the flu is continuing to spread in our area.

Counties in central and south Alabama are now reporting signifcant flu activity.

This shows that the percentage of patients with Influenza Like Illnesses was significantly higher in at least six Public Health Areas.

The ADPH says some easy steps to stop from getting the flu are washing your hands, covering your coughs and sneezes, and getting the flu vaccination every year.
