Regular physical activity later in life boosts the likelihood of healthy aging up to seven times.

Researchers in England found even those who started exercising late in life saw significant health benefits.

They were more than three times as likely to be healthy agers compared to those who did nothing. 

Researchers consider healthy aging to be the absence of major disease along with good mental health and cognitive abilities.
